But the real insight isn't doom, it's a harder truth about human behavior: production quality will only keep improving, and the values we claim to hold around craftsmanship rarely match what we actually consume. From there, the pair revisit an old take that hasn't aged well, Dominic's early skepticism about Ferrari's EV strategy, and get called out by a sharp, car-literate audience member who makes the case that Ferrari's anti-EV stance is actually the most "Ferrari" move the brand could make, refusing to build what everyone else is building. The episode closes on the show's favorite recurring argument: are prediction markets just gambling with better branding?
