Then KRA announced IAT and panic spread across X almost overnight. The promise? Cross-referencing financial data, CRB records, and social media activity to build detailed taxpayer profiles and finally close the gap. On paper, it sounds like a long overdue reckoning. But the hosts pull back the curtain and ask the harder questions. Is this tool actually built for the majority of Kenyans, or does it simply tighten the grip on the already-compliant middle class while the informal sector remains untouched?
